Fuelcard News Motoring Updates: Motorists show satisfaction in super service centres

08/07/2010

Research released today has shown how 93 per cent of motorists would recommend that friends and family should use one of Motor Code’s 6,200 nationwide garages.

The survey, conducted by Motor Codes Limited, sampled over 3,700 people, with questions covering all aspects of the customer experience, from the quality of work to helpfulness of staff.

The findings set out by the regulatory body show the significant impact the Code has on the customer experience.

Subscribing garages average 92 per cent overall satisfaction in customer surveys.

Motor Codes Director Chris Mason said: “Motor codes is delighted with the latest set of Code Survey results, but this success is down to the hard work, quality, friendliness and high standards of subscribing garages.”

He added: “Two years ago Motor Codes set out to transform the service and repair sector, turning around its mixed reputation and providing motorists with a nationwide network of trustworthy garages. There’s still a long way to go, but code members can be proud of the great start that has been made in raising standards across the UK’s garages.”

In other news, a poll by the RAC of 1,150 people has revealed that 84 per cent of those aged over 70 years old support a refresher course.
