Fuelcard News Automotive Updates: The Fuelcard Company partnership saves clients money on fuel

Major fuelcard reseller The Fuelcard Company has partnered with international business insurer QBE to offer approximately 215,000 commercial vehicle drivers access to competitive fuel prices through fixed price fuel cards .

This will give qualifying customers estimated savings of around 4p a litre over the course of a year. The incentive scheme began on 1 July.

QBE motor fleet clients have the choice of four different fuel card products offered by The Fuelcard Company, including Keyfuels, Texaco, Shell and Esso.  They can also benefit from HMRC-approved VAT invoices and The Fuelcard Company’s free fuel analysis in order to monitor current spend and efficiency.

Jakes de Kock, Marketing Director at The Fuelcard Company, said: “With oil prices rising and fuel duty at an all-time high, it has never been more expensive to operate a fleet than it is today.

“With operators so hard-pressed, we are pleased to be able to offer them a service that is certain to make their lives easier and their businesses more efficient and cost effective.”

Meanwhile, The Fuelcard Company has launched a national petition as part of its ‘Don’t Fleece Our Fleet’ campaign, to encourage the Government to stop rises in fuel duty and support the transport industry.
